Hi Anythya,
Welcome to the soap making forum.
First of all, I advise you to do a lot of reading here and use the search function.
All soapmakers have different preferences. Personally, I find soaping at room temp the easiest. Soften your hard oils a bit, throw in the soft oils, make your lye solution and let everything cool down to room temp.
Sure there is a real difference between CP and HP. You can read a lot about both processes over here.

Please start with making just basic soap. You'll need to get an understanding of the soap making process before you try to do fancy stuff.

Fruit won't go bad fast; if you use a limited amount and your oils should always be fresh. There are pics on here showing soaps containing fruit additives

Hey guys ..

hey thanks for all your help people i like to read alot and get a perfect understanding before i attempt anything ...and yeah Dagmar i kno what your saying but im just to creative to do bland stuff i tend to work better with my odd ways lol i also do lapidary (cutting of gemstones ) and even with that i couldnt help but try the hardest first (which i accomplished easily and had fun with lol) and yeah dont worry i will read as much as i can ....i have chosen the hot process method to start with (seems to be the most convienient in my case) my oils i have chosen are sunflower oil (i just love everything about sunflowers the seeds there oil there look etc)Canola oil and macadamia oil i plan to put coconut, rosewater, and maybe crushed up fruit for texture, colour and scent ....im still waitng for my lye to arrive and i have to finnish making my soap mold (decided it was both easier and cheaper to make a soap box mold)

Thankyou kitn i appreciate your warm welcome =D and i love your DP =D

and also thankyou heartsong that link is a godsend i love it ....anyways if anyone has anymore advice i would love to hear it ....i really do take everything in =) ...and as soon as the soaps have been made and done ill put up pics =)

ALSO.....

seeming im going to be doing the HP method ...ive noticed alot of sites say "crock pot" ...can i use a plain old big pot on the stove ???? i had planned on using a 15ltr pot on the stove ....is this ok to do???? ....i have just presumed that people use the crock pot to achieve a deffinate tempreture..is that correct???

With those 3 oils alone, you won't get a decent soap. You can use soapcalc.net to make your own recipe.
Most crushed fruit will give you brown soap and won't leave a smell.

soap calc

i have got a soap calc that i have been playing around with it was the first thing i saved ....it seemed to think thoes would work out fine ...i also looked up the different qualities to see how they would mix.....im adding an essence for flavour/smell the fruit is to give a natural texture and look ....i have yet to figure out if i want to leave it looking natural or if i want to add a colouring...... may i ask if you say my oils will not work to produce nice soap...have you an idea on which i should either add or substitute to give a desired outcome???? perhaps i did something wrong with the soap calc for it to tell me it is fine
