My name is Stacey....I'm 30something, married, and I have two gorgeous little boys. I am two months away from graduating with my 4 year college degree in psych, and I'm looking to start a MBA program after summer break, and hopefully be the CEO of my own company in the near future.

I'm addicted to soapmaking. I might have just started about a month ago, but I absolutely love it. I am a scrapbooker and a stamper, so it's been kind of a natural move into this realm, since they are a lot more similar than they might seem, right? It's all a beautiful form of art :D

Can't wait to learn more. I plan on taking this process nice and slow. I am going to try to perfect and master the M&P before I think about CP....we'll see how it goes lol 8)

Hi Stacey and welcome! I've never made M&P and I've never had any interest in scrap booking but I think both are beautiful! Have you watched any of the Soap Queen video tutorials? She is amazing and there are a lot of creative ideas to be found there. Good luck and have fun!!

Hi Stacey,

Welcome to the forum! :)

I've done MP but I've never had the patience to do anything like the intricate and detailed ones that other people do. I'm always impressed when I see them. I agree with you that it is another form of art. The only problem I see is that people might think they're too prettty to use.

The Soap Queen videos are great but you also might have a lot to talk about with another member - llineb. She does wonderful MP soaps. Here's a link to one of her threads.

Hi, thanks Zeo & Hazel for the nice welcome.

:)

@Zeo: yes! I love A-M, she's great to watch. I think I have probably watched each at least 2-3 times now lol.

@Hazel: thanks for the link - I will be checking it out over lunch! ;)
