i am from Egypt , i want to create my own project. i tried many times to make my soap , the same oil , lye, water but the soap is always soft not solid
what i can do ?

i need help :|

Castille recipes (100% Olive Oil) take a long time to cure and harden up...anywhere from 3 months to a year. Your measurements look correct, so perhaps you just need to let it cure longer. How long have you cured them?

one month .

Really i need help

is it need some other material to make it solid ???

thanks for help

You could try a recipe with 40% Olive Oil/30% Coconut Oil/30% Palm Oil...simple recipe that makes a basic hard bar of soap.
As for your Olive Oil recipe, just let it continue to cure...after 6 months or so it will certainly be hard.

Did you stir it long enough to get thick before you poured it into your mold?

You said that the one soap has been curing for about a month, how soft is it? Is it liquidy? Or is it sponge-like?
Also, have you sliced it? Your recipe is pretty small, so sometimes smaller recipes take even longer to harden :(

One last thing, what kind of olive oil is it?

Thanks Genny
Yes exactly it is like sponge
My receipt is 500 G . Olive oil
i am using Extra Virgin Olive oil , but i am doubt it is Extra Virgin ,
How i can test if is extra virgin or not ?
