Hey Guys,

i hope you can help, i have been using the similar recipe as usual, but in some soaps i get this funny cracking texture or granulation, not sure how to call it.

it usually happens in the middle of the log. when i cut first bars it is ok, then on the 3rd ad onward i gt it.

i used EO only, and same receipt as usual,

i mix at 38 to 34 C temperature.

is it possible that the trace was to light? did it overheat, if so how can i prevent it next time.
Thanks you

This are the photos, please tell me what is it

In the first 2 picture the texture is only in the white color, in the 3rd picture is everywhere!!

It could have overheated and maybe a partial gel? You can try heating your oven to about 170 and then turning it off, putting the log in, and leaving it overnight. That could give you a more even gel and maybe solve the problem. It's very pretty soap and from the pics I dont even really notice anything to serious! I'd buy it :)

if it is overheated, how can i make sure it is not happening again.

i don't cover my soap, it is left in the HDPE mold with the liner on the counter in the kitchen.
shall i coer it or wrap it in something. will that not make it even hotter,

dont really understand the problem of overheating and how that works.

this one also has a crack on the top, not big but still not sure what happen

Yep. Looks like TD crackle, which can be caused from overheating. You can put your soaps in the fridge overnight to help them not cook, might help some.

So shall I put it in the fridge or in the oven?

What will each do to the finish of the soap?

Putting it in the oven wont help if it's over heating, that will only help if it's partial gel. It does look to me (as others) that it's titanium dioxide crackle, so I would put the soap in the fridge or freezer to prevent it from over heating.

Also I have mixed my TD in water (mine is water soluble) and left it to hydrate as others have suggested.

Might also be Stearic Acid separation from unmixed Palm oil if I'm not mistaken...that's what others suggested when I had this same problem in my soaps. That's what was causing it in my soaps, anyway :)
