A sink! I was so excited about the room that I forgot about a sink! I usually use distilled water and I melt/warm my oils & butters in a crock pot or microwave so I knew I didn't need a stove, but I do need to wash my equipment. I'll need to invest in a tote to carry everything upstairs to the kitchen for washing. Now I'm wondering if I've forgotten anything else in my excitement?

You may be able to get a sink installed cheaply in your basement depending on how your pipes are set up. We put one in our garage for messy clean up jobs. It's a plastic unit but it gets the job done.

Less than $40 at Lowes. Cheap and easy to hook up. Makes life easier.

Thanks Hazel! That made my day :D ! Thank you too Judymoody & Dennis for the sink info! I think I may move my soaping table & supplies to the basement at the house I'm in now. I'd have more room & a place for my new dog Maddy to run around while I'm soaping! Maddy is a 1 year old jack russel terrier that I got from my sister's friend who could no longer care for her.

Sounds like a good idea! See, the mojo is working already. You're thinking of a better way and you're moving your supplies.

Where's the picture of Maddy?

Here's my new baby aka princess psycho puppy! She likes to bark at the thermostat, take off like a rocket racing back & forth thru the house when nobody is chasing her or she'll just round around the dining room in a big circle, like puppy nascar, for no reason! Lol
Oops  The pictures look better on my phone than they do here but I'm not sure how to fix the bottom picture so you can see all of her!

I think I am addicted too...
just spent way too long in the shower testing out different soaps )

I keep an empty plastic cookie tray by my kitchen sink. It's full of soap samples & I test 1 every time I need to wash my hands. I also have 1 for the shower! I've run out of shelves for curing my soaps & in a minute I'll to start selling my soap to support my habit! Lol
