My name is Edith. I have been making soap for about 5 years. I make all organic, skin-therapy bars in 75 ounce batches, cold-process/oven-process. I use food grade ingredients only. My family, both close and extended have various skin issues, which prompted me to get into making my soaps. I tried a small start up business four years ago, but found that I did not have time to keep it up and take care of my small children. My kids are older now, so I am thinking once again of starting the shop up, online only. I do mostly consignment in shops in my town, and special orders for people who have specific skin issues. I never diagnose. They tell me what works for them and I make a soap that is compatible. I started making soap before the explosion of soap making resources hit the web. I am excited to see so many resources, so many people, soaping and creating beautiful things. I look forward to participating in this forum!
