I am a newbie to soap making. Just made my first batch of liquid soap using Hot process with KOH. Apart from overheating it at first and having a bit of a foaming up to the brim of pot, it turned out great and the smell is heavenly! I have used it for laundry today and it works great. I decided to do this to eliminate chemicals from our home and to save money. I am looking forward to learning and experimenting with recipes for all uses of homemade soap.:)
