I am new to the SMF but have been making soap for a while. Looking forward to sharing soap making information.
If I may...I have not made soap for a while...with the move and all from Fort Lauderdale to TN...but finally got out the supplies to make some fresh soap only to find my oil is starting to turn a bit rancid. If it were a small amount, I would just toss it and get more...but I have 2-5 gallon buckets of Coconut and 2.5 - 5 gallon buckets of Palm.
I didn't realize how long I have had this oil...Does anyone know if rancid oil can be saved????
