Hello all :)
I have just taken the jump into making CP soaps after doing alot of reading, and so far so good(fingers crossed) i am finding it all fascinating and alot of fun.
I am in NSW Australia, and live with my partner and a 4year old son.
One thing i have noticed is how hard it is to find Palm oil out here.
Looking forward to meeting you all :)

Welcome!

Your best bet for palm oil would probably be Heirloom Body Care - I'm pretty sure they are in NSW. Last time I checked, they had the best prices on it.

Or, if you are just wanting a small amount to play with, Supafry is palm oil - it's the solid deep-frying oil that you can get in some supermarkets, the one in the gold wrapper, in the fridge near the butter (in my BiLo, anyway)

Hello & welcome PlatypusMoon (love the name!).

I agree with Becky - Heirloom Body Care are very reasonably priced and their postage is usually quick. I make Melt & Pour soap and use them for a lot of my supplies. (You can also find some of my MP recipes on their recipe link - yay! :p NOT to boast, I'm just excited!!!)

You will find everyone here on the Soap Making Forum very friendly and helpful. Enjoy your time here.

Thank-you Thank-you
I am finally back after a laptop powercord incident and a 4 year old lol
I will check out those sites too :)

Great Link

Thankyou for that.I have just ordered up big from Escentials Of Australia.
I was holding off feeling I didn't have the best info and Voila ! There it was.
So here's looking soapy at you Kids.
Can't wait for the parcel.

Escentials certainly has the best price on drums of coconut oil. Last time I bought a drum, it was $55 from him, or $85 for the identical oil from Heirloom.
