Hello Everyone!
My name is Ellie, and I have been making soaps for a bit over 15 years now, and mainly make solid soap both HP and CP, but I started with CP and I make both HP and CP now.
I make HP for the scent retention as I use EOs and natural colorants mainly and I am into natural soap making (I rarely use FOs or micas). I love using varieties of herbs both from Europe and Japan as well as North America. I am a bit of hybrid culturally and lived in Canada over 20 years but I am Japanese descent but now I am based both in Hawaii and Japan (Tokyo), love both.
I have been interested in liquid soap making, and have been making liquid soap paste for about a year. I still have a lot to learn in this area as well as HP but I haven't failed yet in liquid or HP.
For liquid soap, I use CPLS method as I don't want to attend 3 hrs to the crockpot So far so good! Fingers crossed!
