I am pretty new to soapmaking. I have made a few batches but my regular supply store closed down! How do I go about finding a new one?

I am pretty new to soapmaking. I have made a few batches but my regular supply store closed down! How do I go about finding a new one?

What sort of raw materials do you typically buy? I get a lot of things at my local 'big box' stores... Walmart, BJ's Wholesale, Lowe's, and grocery stores like Publix. I also buy online at Bulk Apothecary, Bramble Berry, and Wholesale Supplies Plus, and Amazon among others (I need to trim that list back).

Welcome to the forum. Sam's Club and Costco are good places to buy in bulk. Your local hardware store will probably have lye in the drain cleaner section. Just make sure it says 100% lye or sodium hydroxide on the label.
