Hello, as a result of many months telling my better half she needs a hobby, she has finally settled on making soap. This comes as a result of watching the many craft programmes around on TV and her inherent desire to clean everything 
so here I am.
I'm assuming responsibility to help and support her through the learning process and hopefully reap the benefits as the soap production starts.
U may wonder why I've joined the form rather than her. Unfortunately she does not share the same interest in the internet as she does for all things clean and would rather be watching the soaps than reading about making them.
Well thats my excuse, and i'm sticking to it
So we have a stack of oils, caustic soda (lye), essential oils and a couple of books and are about to give it a go.
