Hey everyone. I'm new to soap making in a sense. I have a MS in polymer science and a BS in chemical engineering so I have spent alot of time in a laboratory and understand chemistry and rheology and heat transfer and the list goes on. I am not fool enough to think however that this means that I know about actually getting my hands dirty making soap. My lovely assistant/shiny new girlfriend Erin has made soap before many times and has gotten me into it and filled my head with dreams of being soap magnates on the Okanagan. I'm not sure if this dream will ever become a reality, but I am enjoying myself and it beats unemployment. We are in Canada in Chilliwack in British Columbia. I have a question or two but I just wanted to say hi.
I'm sorry if my username is weird but I had troubles with forgetting passwords and usernames and I just had to start over. The name just came to me. *shruggs* Nice to meet you all. Happy soaping. Also, if you have any practical questions about soap making don't ask me; at least not yet, but with technical science questions please go right ahead.
