Hi, I have been lurking for a few weeks and enjoy all of your discussions. I started soapmaking about two months ago. I am just doing this for a hobby right now. So far I have made 8 batches. Some CP, HP, and M&P. So far I have purchased two books and have spent a bit of money (more than I thought I would) on soap supplies. I find that I can't stop thinking and talking about it. That's why I am here. I am addicted. I am a bit shy but I would feel comfortable in joining the discussions and sharing pictures. Everyone seems so helpful. I've already posted a few messages in the CP forum. Ok, talk to you later.

Welcome cheres , to the forum and the addiction we all have here on this forum , making soap .The good news is , there is no cure . It does cost a little bit to get going , but it's worth it :wink: .

Dagmar and Kittn, Thankyou. Yes, Whenever I go food shopping, I am always trying to find a new oil or tool to add to my soapmaking collection. Today, I asked if I could get some beef tallow at a market that has an in-house butcher. They said yes,if I call ahead, they'll save me some. No charge. Isn't that great?
