Hello everyone!

I am a complete newbie when it comes to soap making. I just happened to go to a Renaissance Festival where someone was selling home made soap. I figured, "this is pretty cool, why not make my own?" And here I am.

I just built my box and got all my oils. I got them from Essential Depot, any one else buy from there? I'm a little skeptical since it's one of the better priced sellers.

Anyways, I'm excited to make my first batch tomorrow!

I've bought lye from Essential Depot. I was very happy with the quality of the lye. They have fast shipping and good customer service. Why are you skeptical?

Oh I always heard cheap means bad haha. I was more skeptical about the oils I bought from ED. Came in a cheap plastic container. No ingredients listed, etc.
