Halloween Skull Bomb

I had been complaining about not being able to make large bath bombs like Lush. A friend suggested to try the skull mold (probably because she was sick of hearing me whine). Thanks Clare!

I had some problems getting these out of the mold so they're rough looking. One weighs 4.8 oz and the other is 5.65 oz because I was trying to use the last of the mix so I packed it harder.

Thanks but I'd still like to try to create the big round ones. On the other hand, maybe I should try some other molds. I've got one with large heart shaped cavities that might be fun to try.

The image of someone dropping one of these skulls into the bathtub while they're lying there, watching it fizzle and disintegrate is just... very funny! I'm sure they'll be a hit- they look great!

Thanks! I'm 99% positive she'll love it especially because of the size. The last time I made bath fizzies, she said they didn't fizz long enough. I think these will last a bit longer. :wink:

BTW, I used NG's Smiley Face FO (I love this scent) and the BB skull mold. Here's the link to the mold in case anyone wants to try making some skull bombs.

Why can't you make a bath bomb? Is there too much humidity? I wouldn't have been able to do this a few weeks ago because it was very humid. It finally cooled off enough that I felt I could safely make them.
