I just got a great deal on a 50 lb cube of lard. I was at a restraunt supply store buying some olive oil and the manager asked me what all the oil was for and after I told her she asked " Do you ever use lard to make soap with? " It turns out someone special ordered it and did not take it so she offered it to me for $10. With my 5% buisness discount that puts it at $9.50 for the 50 lbs. I checked for a date on it and it is fresh. Finally a break. Lard for .19 a pound.
