Ahhh!! Maybe I should have said oily instead. Then again, maybe that’s the point of a lotion bar? I’ve never used one before making my own 🤷🏽‍♀️
Ohhh, now I get it. So, yes, there are degrees of oiliness, oil "weight," and rate of absorption. I've made bars with coconut oil and my hands just stayed greasy. Abyssinian is a wonderful, light oil that feels delicious, you'll like it, so is meadowfoam seed. Other light oils are fractionated coconut oil, grape seed (short shelf life), sunflower. Medium oils are rice bran (feels great), sweet almond, jojoba, apricot kernel. I liked my kokum butter bars. Cocoa butter is slow to absorb. I've settled on mango butter because it absorbs quickly.
