This brings me back. When I was growing up, we routinely took "Sunday drives" (I lived in Philadelphia), so it was nice to get out of the city landscape into more rural areas. So, I'd go for the country roads. But 500 miles!

Hm, that's tough. I'm a registered nurse, and I loved my job and made a decent salary. I'd say if those were the only choices, I would take the boring job so at least my time off would be great.

I would have to say the forest with the critters. I enjoy nature too much to pass it up.

The 6 month trip - I have already been to most European countries, much of Asia and a small part of Africa. But never to India, so that would be nice.
