Well good morning y’all. I just needed to make sure that I made a quick note on the last soap that I made.

Ok, so everything went to plan. I made the soap as a gift because we have four pregnant mothers in our church right now and I thought this soap would be nice to give to them. Anyway I was making coffee and setting it up this past Sunday and heard one of the moms to be say that her favorite color was purple. Well I had already decided I was going to make them some soap. When I heard that I got it in my head that I would go and buy some purple organic carrots and try that. Fortunately the soap turned out great it’s just not purple.

NOTE TO SELF PURPLE CARROTS DO NOT MAKE PURPLE SOAP!!!

I am assuming it turned brown? I just made a batch using carrot powder and I have to say it is a real nice soap. I was hoping for an orange color but wound up with kinda creamy tan colored bar with a few orange flecks in it. I couldn't contain myself and tried the soap after a day and it already had a nice lather

Surprisingly no. It looks like I used orange carrots. So yeah!!
