fragrance not the same smell

anyone buy the same fragrance , same company ,have it not smell the same? Im bummed, i liked it so much the first time, could it smell different in cp vs. hp? I like the way it smells in cp better, but wondering if they made if different?

I'd say the same fragrance could smell different in CP and HP. In CP, the scent can morph during saponification.

I have a particulat scent that chenges in the bottle after about a year. If I buy a new bottle & compare it to the last drop of the old bottle they smell nothing alike. I actually like the smell older oil better. It's like it has aged.

Once time I ordered a sweet pumpkin fo sample, I like it so much I ordered a larger bottle & the new bottle said sweet pumpkin but it was def a coffe pumpkin scent. I noticed they had a pumpkin frappuccino fo on their website os I ordered a sample of that. Sure enough the larger bottle labeled sweet pumpkin contained pumpkin frap though the supplier swore it was not bottled/labeled wrong. They are not longer in biz.

Yes CP and HP of the same scent COULD smell different...
