Try it now Mac / Firefox users - I believe I have now fixed the problem. I resorted to downloading Firefox and checking it out for myself, and after a while of puttering around and tweeking some things, I think you should be able to check out my website.

Let me know if you have problems! Thanks!

well...

I was using Microsoft Publisher to create the site, and was using the Master Page function, which didn't work. I also had things grouped together - which I found didn't work either. Once I took everything off the "Master Pages" and ungrouped objects everything worked. Although working with Master Pages was a lot easier than editting common objects on every page - at least it works.

I'm not sure if I explained that well - but do you understand what I am saying?

thanks again for your help Desert - really appreciate it!

You explained just fine.

No problem on the help.......Except I had done started rebuilding it for you and was going to send you fixed code.......LOL glad I only did a 1/2 hour of work on it.....That's what I get for doing things without asking/telling first....Oh wait I did this at work so hey I got paid anyhow...I love my job.

I see you fixed the ingredients URL also. Very Very nice site.

aww

Yeah - fixed the ingredients page.... and almost all of the butters are done - 6 left of those, only 9 left of carrier oil profiles to. The hardest will be getting all the essential oil information together. But I am quite happy about how it is turning out so far. And if you wish you can subscribe and my shopping cart finally works.

I'm pretty excited - can you tell :)

Very Very Nice. I like the way you have your set up. You should consider doing web pages!

I am slowly working on one, or two, or three, or four.....Just trying to figure out what I like best. I would give you all the link but I do my test sites under lock and key of a password so that yahoo, Google, and all of them don't get in. They love to mess with me and put my test sites top of the list....Now if only they would do it with my ready for public sites!

The problem I am having is I plan to use a few scripting languages I know very little about so hard coding is going slow. PHP seems easy enough, however; I keep wanting to start typing C# and have to go back and change it all to PHP.

EDIT: Check your messages. (deleted)

yeah would love to

I would love to create webpages for a living - but right now I am pretty set at my current job - although I am trying to get stable enough to not depend on this job so much. But in this economy..... you know the rest!

Thanks for the key! Appreciate it. I have the program - just never really messed with it too much, but I should use it because it might be easier than working with Publisher - who knows. I will fiddle with it and see what I like better.

I know probably even less than you about hard coding.... I am learning small things here and there, and want to pick up a book on it so I can vamp up my skills, but that might take a while.

Well if you want send me some links to your "up and ready" sites, I would love to see them!

They are all business related and I will not devolge those on forums. I am sorry as I decided along time ago to hold this policy.

Don't buy books! They are no good for web coding I have a hundred and none of them are as good as this free site.

This is the bomb of learning sites. I learn my C#, Java (not Java Script), Basic and C though my local college. But they are not that good for websites.

thanks

I did a search and found that site earlier yesterday morning - I will def. be using some of those tips :)

Just start with HTML and work your way from there. I suggest you lock part of your site. I like to point it too /testpage/login and then I have a place to work with if I use any server side scripting.

I learned most stuff on the site in 1 day and then printed out all the reference material. This way I could put it too memory.
