I asked a friend to go to my site to check on a link, but she said that she was unable to click on any links in the site. I wanted to know if it was just her computer - or if something is wrong with the site. I can click on all of the links when I go to the site, so I can't see the problem on my end - but of course it probably is something I did.

Anyway - would any of you mind checking it out and seeing if you can click any links? She specifically told me that the left side links (home, ingredients, products, etc...) is not working or showing up.

Just let me know if you can access the site, and if you can click on any links, that would be soooo helpful.

Here is the site....

Thanks so much!

Maybe just Macs

I'm thinking that it might just be on Mac's. If you have a Mac can you check. I only know one person with a Mac, and that's who checked it originally.

If it is just Mac's I wonder how I can fix it.

Thanks for all the help!

Beautifull site

Most worked for me
That is a very clear site .I love yout Avatar and little pixie profile on here.
Just down on Ingredients page the pigments and others didn't go through so I assume they aren't ready yet.
Thankyou for sharing.

you're right

The bottom links on the ingredients page aren't ready yet. I will probably get to those sometime in the next month. I thought that EO, Carrier Oils, Butters, and waxes were the most important. But I should at least be able to link them in the next few weeks. - Thanks for checking!

Im using Firefox, none of the links are 'clickable'.

Looks good though!

Thanks Deda

I will have to research that - not sure whats going on - I will post an update when I figure it out. That's no good!

Not clickable here

FireFox here also and not able to click.

I looked at your source code and took the first table and copy/paste it into a web page on my desk top with just this I could click so your links are running fine its somewhere else in your code. I will dig in a little bit but I won't promise anything as I am only going to spend a couple of min. on this.

I have been doing some digging cutting/pasting and this line, seems to have some effect on the links allowing me to click when removed.

<![if !vml]><span style='position:absolute;z-index:-893;
left:186px;top:1128px;width:560px;height:116px'>

Looking through your code you have commented out a bunch of things and this makes for hard digging.

I just loaded in IE and works fine there on my computer just not when I use FireFox (which is my main browser used)

A Huge Thanks

Thank you so much for taking the time to look through the source code. I use Microsoft Publisher to create the site, so I can not see the source code from there. I am thinking that I might have to go to a different program. I also have a question in with Office Live to see whats going on and if they can fix it. So hopefully this weekend I will talk to them. I don't know what that line is - or where I would be able to change it. I know a little HTML, but not much. I just wish Publisher had a "view HTML" option, like FrontPage did. It was so much easier when I could toggle between the two. I think I might have dreamweaver or something on my old computer - so maybe I will dig that out and see what I can do. And hopefully it isn't Office Live that is creating this stupid problem.

I looked it up, and it did say Office Live supported Mac, and FireFox 2.0.

More things to add to the list, ahhhh... I WILL MAKE THIS WORK FOR EVERYONE!!!

And again, thanks so much for looking up the source code!

No problem just one warning if you take that line out completely it will put the links over all the other stuff on the top. So your site would still be broken. I just wonted to let you know that this line has some to do with it. I am sorry i cant offer more help and wish you luck. If you would like to see your code then do this through IE.

Click View
Click Source

It will show you all your code.

EDIT: Until you get this fixed I would place something on your code that says "BEST VIEWED USING INTERNET EXPLORE Some links will not work outside of IE."

Sorry for the double reply but did not wont to edit so long after last post.

I finally took the time too really look over your site. I LOVE IT you are well organized, have a very good disclaimer, show your contact information on every page (very very nice), I had no problem finding my way around, have your pictures the right size, and give a overall professional look and feel.

I used to do websites for a living (years ago with just basic HTML), we had to judge each others designs before we submitted them off to customers. We used a five star rating looking at some of the things I mentioned and yours would not have goon under a 4 star in any category(most would be 5). We also checked grammar and spelling but I was allowed to skip the grading here as mine is the worse  so I can not grade you on this. There is two websites on here that I am thinking about copying the basic setup while making it mine at the same time. Some of the things I plan on steeling from you is the way you have your ingredients listed (I LOVED THE WAY YOU DID THIS). Don't worry mine will be different as I only steel a little   I hope this is OK with you.

EDIT: Even though I don't spell very well myself I would like to point out one thing with your site. Look at the following.

http://naturallybejeweled.com/default_f ... n_List.htm

You might wont to change this too (Ingredients_Main_List)

I only mention this becouse I would wont someone to point it out too me if I was in your shoes. While most will not notice this some will and this may have them hitting the back button.

Ouuuoooooohhhhh arghhhhhhhhh ouch , computors???

My heart goes out to you.
Me thinks your best peice of equiment my be your off switch.

Computors are very frustrating.
Maybe go on google and ask them in their question thingy. they know most else.
I actually think it is probably some ones grandma holed up in an attick with a bottle of sherry and a box of macaroons typing out the google answers 1 x blessed 1

Thanks!

Thank you so much Desert. Your thoughtful review is incredibly helpful. I did change the Ingedrients (haha - I had been looking at it for so long I didn't even notice the mistake, even after you pointed it out, it took me a minute to get it. - Guess I got tunnel vision). Also I am quite flattered you want to use my format! Go for it! And let me know when its up, I would love to see it. :)

As for you guys on Mac's and using Firefox. I am still working on this problem. I have a couple posts on the officelive forum, and one to the techies at office live. Hopefully soon I can get this worked out. I will let you know when this gets fixed.

Thanks again guys! You are the best.
