Hello :D

I'm new to soap making and recently purchased supplies to make bubble baths. If you add essential oils to bubble baths do I need to add it to the FO/EO Modifier first? And how much modifier do I use for 4 oz of bubble bath?

Thanks!

Did you buy a pre made bubble bath base? If so, than no you don't need a modifier. Where did you get it from? Don't be surprised if your bubble bath thins out considerably after adding your FO. I have only found very few FO's to not thin out my shower gel after adding them. Now I add xanthan gum to keep them thicker.
HTH!

Thanks!

I purchased the pre-made bubble bath from Wholessale Supplies Plus. I wasn't sure if I needed the modifier because I want my bubble baths to come out clear. If I just added EO's to the pre-made solution, won't the oils separate?

Love the gel from there!!! I've tried others, but think I'm going to go back to the crystal clear gel! LOVE it!!! But, no, the oils won't separate. I can't say whether certain EO's or FO's will cloud it up though. I put mine in frosted bottles so can't say for certain, but I don't think I've had any cloud up on me!

I'm a fan of their gel too! Its so easy to work with. Do you add any moisturizers into your shower gel/bubble baths? I'm experimenting with grape seed oil. Are there any other ones that good to use in shower gels?
