I tried melt/pur - had lost of fun
Tried CP - freaky - everything went wrong - but I got bars despite the problems.

I want a better experience for my first shot at HP - what I need is some help with the recipe...

What I have seen in my research kind of suggests
25% Coconut oil for suds
65% or so of olive for moisture
??% of Castor - hard soapy bar
??% of shea - just because it is in just about everybody's recipe... (I wish I had picked up some hemp oil the last time I was in Hobby Lobby, just for show... - would garner more attention if there was some in there and on the ingredients list, even 1%... LOL

After it gets done (Vaseline???)- I am planning to add some goat milk / and or / yogurt- let's say 3 tablespoons for a full batch (1000g)

A few drops of some color - not adding any aroma - wife is allergic to perfume of any kind - then plop it in the loaf mold - make the top fancy - and sprinkle some mica for show (again)

Is this a good recipe - or should it be tweaked

Can use any oils/percentages that you also like for CP. THE BIG DIFFERENCE IS THE AMOUNT OF WATER, 25% LYE CONCENTRATION vs 33%+ for CP. Using a soap calculator will help you determine the amount of lye and water to use.
Highly recommend that you use the search function on this site for "HP Soap" and read as much as you can about it before starting. I personally would recommend making a small (14-16 oz of oils) plain batch first to see how you like the process before adding extras like goat milk or yogurt.
