I had read all this information about how castiles sometimes take a couple days to be firm enough to unmold, so when I decided to join in on the 'new year's' thing I expected to be waiting a little bit even if it gelled.

Nope.

This would be my 'well, the bottle *said* it was olive oil' castile. I didn't check it first thing in the morning, but it was firm enough to unmold and cut just 24 hours later. I did scent it with WSP's sparkling limoncello. It smells fantastic.

Looks good. I have stopped calling my olive oil soap Castile, as it doesn't act like everyone says theirs acts. Like Susie, I use the Daily Chef brand olive oil from Sam's Club, who knows what is really in it.
