First attempt with lard

First attempt at lard soap and oat milk soap. The oak milk I made myself. Recipe is below. I like the way it came out but not sure if the spots are the detritus from the oat milk or something more serious I made a version without lard and have similar outcomes.

I make my own. I'm guess it's the starches in the milk. I also get it with rice milk (self prepared)

I think you’re right about that. Doing some more reading, the milk proteins start to become soap and that’s what the white specks are
