The voting link has been sent out to everyone who registered for this month's challenge. If that's you, check your Conversations, aka private messages, aka the envelope icon at the top of the page.

Voting will remain open until everyone who registered has voted (even if they did not submit an entry), or until Feb 26 at 6p GMT, whichever comes first. Don't keep us all in suspense - vote right now!! (please) 😁

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I will make my scrubby soap and put it here. I want to enter every challenge I can because it really makes you go out of your comfort zone and learn new stuff.
I just voted on this month's challenge and everyone's entry was special with interesting backgrounds. It is very hard to pick the winners :--)

Well, I need to withdraw. It has been a really sucky February. I had to put one of my dogs down, my goat kidded, and the babies didn’t survive. On top of that, we were out of power for a week last week. I finally get everything sorted out and back in my soap shed today. I’m making the soap today, but it won’t be able to be cut until after the deadline. I’m so sorry!!!!
Life happens. So sorry it was such a bad month; hopefully, it turns around for you very quickly.

Oh no, I’m really sorry that life has been so challenging for you lately. I hope the soapmaking brings you some joy {{{hugs}}}

I decided to make Pine Tar soap. My favorite nephew ( don’t tell the rest 😆) has been bugging me to make a dupe of Squatch pine tar since I started making soap. I used pumice, activated charcoal and colloidal oats. I used classic bells tip of splitting the oils and adding the lye to one half, and the pine tar to the other half. I used aloe Vera juice for my liquid, and sodium lactate to make unfolding easier. For fragrance I used Satsuma from Crafters Choice and just a titch

of Cedarwood EO. I’m the soda ash queen, and I’m embracing it on this soap since it gave it some character. It’s not a sexy swirl like I usually do but overall I’m happy with it.

It is gorgeous! So smooth and even-looking. Wow, if this is what you make when you're stressed out... Beautiful!

@Barefoot Farm Girl that looks amazing!! If you send me a bar, I promise not to rat you out to all the other nephews and nieces. ;)
Sure! I’d be honored to have you try one of my soaps! Send me your address ❤️

Thank you! You don’t know how much that means to me, I’m only a year in, so I consider myself a toddler in the soaping world!
