As stated in this threads' title, even my newbie soap has gotta be better than cleaning with this thing:

My wife has this wad of fine filament/fine mesh plastic screen type material that she bought with a commercial body soap. It's gentle & effective. Getting caught using it wouldn't make her look odd.
Gotta be easier/safer than blades etc.
I'm not mocking you, I'm just saying that we've gotten past strigil blades etc.
Easier/safer methods exist & can be found at you local WalMart or drug store.
While the term strigil blades are out of date the method certainly is not. Using a plastic scrubber pad is a method of strigil cleansing. It's like comparing how we file our nails. The ancients used a rock to file their nails, today we use a stick with small rocks glued to it called an emery board. Things are not so different today.welder said:I'm not mocking you, I'm just saying that we've gotten past strigil blades etc.

Oils are a wonderful way to clean your skin, I use a blend of Castor and Sunflower on my face. I'm a fanatic about the OCM.

My OCM is castor and olive but is a bit greasy so I'll try sunflower or safflower next in pace of the olive.
