Mine don't they sink to the bottom of the tub. Is this normal? I would realy like it if they would float around. Is there a secret out there or am I just dreaming?
thanks

I made my first bath bombs today and they float

I thought they were supposed to sink lol

I don't know, I suspect something went wrong
First of all they are supposed to dry up in a few hours so I went to work and left them to themselves
When I came home they had swollen up to almost twice the size lol
They smell nice, they fizz but that's about it..
I suspect they started reacting somehow but perhaps ran out of moisture

when I cut one into pieces it seemed like there has been some kind of gas creating reaction because it looked like bubbles on the inside which is why they float I guess

I'm also clueless about what went wrong

I used 1 dl Citric Acid
2 dl Baking Soda
1/2 table spoon turmeric powder
3 ml fragrance oil
1 table spoon jojoba oil (because it kept staying dry)
4-6 sprays of regular water

I don't know if I packed them way to hard as well perhaps

they look nice and yellow
they smell nice
they feel like they would have a nice texture

I might eat them instead

ps.. don't use turmeric powder because it doesn't color the water, only the surface of the water (which would be the jojoba oil I guess)
