In the days when people actually did hand drafting, you could get huge "D" size sheets of mylar. With the advent of large format printers, this mylar even came in rolls for use in drafting printers. (A size is 8 1/2 x 11 inches, B size is 17 x 11, and so on). One side had a matte finish for drawing with pencil or ink and the other side was usually shiny. I don't know if drafting mylar is an extinct animal nowadays, but it would be perfect for larger molds.
