Ok, so I have been making CP soap since 2002. I love it. I make nice soap. Now I'm starting to sell my nice soap.
The last few days I've been playing with MP. I FREAKING LOVE IT.
It's easy to work with. I don't notice ANY difference in the way the soap feels. Even with my bestest most priciest oils. I'm using MP from WSP, the natural stuff. Both clear and white.
Now, I have my CP down to where I can produce a consistent batch, coloring, additives, all that. But it's a tedious process. I can make them all look the same, but sometimes it's a well choreographed dance.
Now that I've used the MP and learned how wonderfully easy it is to work with AND learned not to boil it, it's all I can think about! I lay awake at night thinking of all the wonderfully creative things I can do with it! (Thank you Tabitaha, Digit and Kathy!)
I respect all of you talented women, and men, too. To that end I would love to hear your views on the differences between MP and CP in any and all regards; marketing, selling, processing, costs, quality, creativity and stability.
Thank you all!
