Have you tried this yet? I don't have an answer. Just my opinion but I think it would work since cupcake liners are made to hold up to liquidy content and high temps. But I may be wrong since I haven't tried it. You could try making a CP batch and pour some soap in one liner to see how it turns out. The rest put in a loaf as usual. This way if it doesn't work, you've not got a bunch of soap to peel off paper.

You can buy silicone cupcake liners which I don't think are too expensive. You could make them in the molds and then set them in the paper.

However, someone else may have tried this and knows for sure. This is just a suggestion. If you don't get a reply to a question, bump the post to take it back to the top of 'Today's Posts'. This way someone who knows the answer but hasn't been on the forum for awhile may see it.

*Tell you what - I'm going to be making an HP batch later today. I'll scoop a little out before it cooks and put in a liner for an experiment. I can let you know tomorrow how it turned out.

I've tried them in regular cupcake liners and they stuck. The only way to get the paper off was to get the soap wet.

Not only that, but the color of the paper liners changed too.

I make them in the silicone "wrappers" and it works great. As for the gelling question, I don't think mine actually gel. Since they are individual and not insulated at all I don't think they get hot enough. But either way it doesn't affect the final product. Also, after un molding I don't add the paper liner. I think people really like to see that it's ALL soap. ImageUploadedBySoap Making1382292947.934828.jpg

I use regular paper liners and never had a problem with them sticking. They do change color since they absorb some of the oil. The liners I buy are waxed though.

I used paper liners for a batch of CP, and had no trouble getting the paper off. Actually, the paper absorbed some oil, and started peeling away on their own when I moved them. I like the silicon liners,I would definitely do that next time.

Good luck.

I got busy and forgot to scoop soap out before it started to gel. So, I did put some almost completely gelled soap into a regular paper liner. It didn't stick, was easy to peel off but had absorbed some of the oil. Your results may vary. Personally, I'd stick with using silicone but that's just me.
