One YouTube creator is famous for "copious amounts of clay". I decided to see just how copious i could get lol. Made a small 2lb batch of lard, shea, and coconut soap with goat milk powder, oats, aloe vera juice, and clay. 6 ounces of kaolin clay. Yup, a bunch lol. 2.4:1 water, and 10% SF. I had serious doubts of it firming up much. Even with that much water, the clay would absorb quite a bit. My biggest concern was it becoming crumbly. It's been 4 weeks now. The bar did set, but I can still dent it with a finger. But this is the most amazing feeling bar on my face, all over really. A cream like lather lite on the bubble. I handed out 3 to some folks to try and see what they think. One already said "wow, I'm in love" lol. This isn't something I would make to sell because it won't be a long lasting bar. But, it was a very surprising tester. I'll prolly make another batch dropping the clay some, trying to find my happy place.

People do use clay masks so that would make sense. Cool experiment. Does make me wonder what it would be like. I don't see it hardening but I could be wrong.
No, it won't get much if any harder than it is now

It sounds luxurious! So it is like a nice soft scrub?
Once it gets wet, it's very smooth and soft. I feel just a tiny bit of exfoliating. It is honestly just a wet clay feel lol
