I want to do some sort of coffee soap tonight. I have Coffee FO and all the other supplies but how do I go about adding the coffee grounds. Can I use instant coffee? We don't drink coffee but I have some in the cupboard for when we have visitors...maxwell house I think. Will it work? Will it get icky? moldy?
Does it make the soap brown? Looking to get a rich brown color, will the coffee be enough...if it even changes the color? Thanks all!

I really don't think instant will work. Won't it dissolve? I made some a while back and used brewed coffee for my water/lye solution and 2 heaping teaspoons of coffee grounds at trace. The color is a nice soft brown with the grounds adding contrast. Good luck!

I think the instant would dissolve too. I'd use coffee grounds. Now the next question I'm wondering is, does it have to be brewed or can you just throw it in?
