I ordered some coffee and avocado butter, awaiting their arrival. Can I whip them alone into body butter, or do I need to add another oil? I'm thinking about also trying a sugar scrub with the coffee butter. Latte, anyone?

I've never tried to whip coffee butter (though I dunno why it'd be any different than any other butter) but bear in mind, it's STRONG! You can add another oil (or oils) if you like. Jojoba is good....aweet almond....macadamia....maybe some cocoa butter if you wanna stiffen it up some. Some chocolate or vanilla FOs might be nice with it too.
Good luck!

Thanks LJA! It was on sale for a good price, so I thought I'd try it. Maybe if is that strong it will be better used in soap. I wondered about a butter that was not a "true" butter, but is a hydrogenated product. It will be interesting to see what it is like.

I use it in body products...it's nice if you even it out with something. Hazelnut....you know....whatever coffee flavor ya like. :) I like Java stuff too.
