CI Numbers

Hello All,

This is my first time posting. I am currently creating a label for lip tints and wondering if anyone knows if the CI numbers for iron oxides need to be included in the ingredient list or can iron oxide simply be listed as an ingredient without the CI number? I am located in California.

In the US, the correct way to list Iron Oxides is "Iron Oxides". The CI number (which differs based on the particular color) is NOT used in the United States. That's federal regulation; California follows it for the color additives.
