Cherry Almond

This was my very first swirl attempt, and only my 3rd batch of soap, so it didn't turn out exactly how I was expecting, but still an interesting effect The bottom two are the same soaps just flipped, it's interesting to me how every bar really is different!

What colorant were you using? It's a nice representation of the fo.

I really liked it until I used it in CP..that's all you can smell through my tiny apartment. I might come to like it again one day, but I didn't realize how strong it would be in the CP. I only used 2oz in a 3lb batch, but other people seem to like it! (I let my mom and some friends sniff it, not use it yet!)

No colour, that's the natural discolouration of the FO, the 'white' I just left unscented.

Wow, that is nice and that is a lot of color from just the fragrance oil! It is a pretty color also, it works well with the fragrance As for the swirl, they take practice. I suggest watching some videos on youtube showing different swirl options to get some insight as to how other people do things. It is a pretty soap and great for a third attempt

I feel the same way whatever frangrance I use, no matter how good it smells, I'm about ready to puke by the time I get out of the kitchen after soaping!:sick:

Badger, after I cut that one and it wasn't what I wanted I spent a whole day on youtube watching videos..I did a tiger stripe today..at least I *think* I did, we'll see how it is when I cut it :wink:

I hope you tiger stripe comes out well! I look forward to seeing pictures I attempted to do an in the pot swirl today, but my soap got too thick too fast, so I have no idea what it will look like.
