Wow! How old are they? I hope the vibrance survives some time!

reddish is tomato paste with paprika

szaza's plant extracts woefully missed out a clean red, but from these trials, I can imagine that tomato + alkanet (and possibly support by red palm oil or annatto) would give some lovely bright colour that is darker and not as orange-ish than carrot/paprika etc.

I made it Mar 25. The red did get a bit darker but not much. Been keeping them in the dark. Digging up some rhubarb root today to try
