I tried a little bit of gold mica in some CP soap batter left over
from a batch, just to see what color I would get- kind of a flat gold.

I would like to have a sparkly gold vein in, maybe a black bar.
So, I'm wondering if I could swirl with a vein of clear M&P containing
mica into a black CP. Do they stick together? I'm assuming
that the CP would saponify around the M&P.

Has anyone tried this?

Sure you can!
I like playing around with MP in CP; the problem is the swirling as MP is so very liquid.
If you pour it in, it is likely to create a geode in your soap - wonderfull maybe, but not your intention ;)
Of course you could use premade pieces of MP and embed them into the CP soap - spray them with alcohol for better incorporation.

here is a link with one I did - only topping and an embed with cherries - you have to scroll down a bit

It makes for a very unique look. I used chunks and sprayed them with alcohol before adding the cp .

You guys make it so tempting for me to pick up MP too.!

I love the look of CP/Glycerin combined. It adds dimension and the glycerin is a nice addition to the overall soap. Love the Arctic soap!
