caffeine soap

from a self confessed coffee junkie, I'm intrigued....has anyone made caffeine soap yet? I'm a little tempted......

Is it safe in soap ? I couldn't see anything on the link that said it was . If it were soap safe , I would not want children or pets getting near it . I don't think I would soap with it , I like my real cuppa joe in the am and I know how much caffeine is in it . If in fact the caffeine does enter the skin , it would not be safe to use if you had certain medical conditions and it would interfere with critical medical test results .

I had no idea you could put caffeine in soap. Just thought I'd ask around here......

it would seem a little on the unsafe side. I mean that is a dangerous, possibly life threating ingredient to be messing with.

but like I said....loves me some coffee in the A.M.
Can't get it into the system fast enough.

I actually purchased caffeina while back & have not done anything w/ it yet. Someone said they saw caffein lipbalm, it may have been carebear.

Speaking of which, I have not had my morning cup yet... BRB...

I just have to wonder how much actually would be absorbed by your skin. I am curious about this stuff. It does sound great in a lip balm

I would think very little if any at all. I imagine it is for 'label appeal'.

Be weary of anything in a wash off product that is supposed to absorb via the skin. Sounds like a bunch of hype.
