Hello All!

I run the internet "adventures" over at www.CibariaSoapSupply.com , and I am also just getting into soap making myself. After doing a lot of research for the website itself, I became quite fascinated with soap making.

Our site is on the brink of having it's final design implemented, but you're now able to view products and place orders, and sign up for the newsletter. It should be squared away by Monday with a gorgeous new layout. :) We're located on the West coast in Riverside, California.

I'm looking forward to getting to know all of the new and experienced soap makers here! Don't worry.. I'm not a spammer.. I genuinely want to know about soap making and the needs of soap makers when it comes to what they're using and how they use it. You may see me and my intro message on other soap boards as well. I'm still in my "learning" stage of soap making.

I'd appreciate any input in terms of base oil product preferences, your favorite soaps to make, and possibly any soap recipe's that would be great for a beginner such as myself. We will be launching a blog next week, and I'd be very interested in featuring your soap creations (photos, recipes, tips, advice) on it!

If interested, do let me know.

Have a great weekend, Soapers!

Welcome to SMF.
There are lots of experienced soapers on here that are only too happy to help out when someone needs help.
That's what makes it so great here.
Going to check out your website!!

Hello!

It's nice to have you here. You'll find the archives a great source of information and inspiration as you start your soapmaking.

Looking forward to checking out the blog! :)

Hello all, thank you for your kind responses! I am already starting to see why the soap making industry seems to be such a tight-knit one. :)

I'm so excited to get to work on my first soap. I've heard some newbie horror stories.. so i'm hoping mine comes out at least halfway decent.
