Is it too late to add EO to lotion the next day

Hello,

I made am emulsified lotion last night. I added an essential oil mix that is too faint. I’d like to add more EO but do not want to ruin the 400 gram batch (I should have made a smaller batch and tried the amounts first!). I would appreciate any suggestions on this. As I am giving it away as gifts, so I do not want to take the risk of it separating. The lotion is fairly thick. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Thank you

It might work okay especially if the fragrance is only a small % of the total batch. But no guarantees, though. IMO, a thick texture doesn't necessarily guarantee a lotion is "bullet proof".

Best way to know is to try it out on a sample.
