Bottling Advice....

Good morning everyone!!

I am thinking of switching up my product line as far as packaging goes and I would like some feedback please.

I currently use clear bottles and color all my lotions, gels and sprays. As you know that can be really time consuming and besides I am trying to stay as natural as possible. I was thinking of switching to Hot Pink bottles (my business colors are black, hot pink and white) I know the cost is a little more, however the time I would save by not coloring everything I think is worth it.

What I am wondering if it appealing to the customer or not.

Unless you're marketing towards young girls, teenage girls, etc, I'd go with the clear bottles and don't color the lotion. Instead keep the colors in your labels.

I agree with Genny. A hot pink label on a clear bottle would be what I would do.

So would you still keep everything (lotion, gel, spray) clear/white and then make the labels a bold color to match the scent? For instance if I was making Peaches & Cream do the label a peach color? Lavender Vanilla do a Lavender color?

You could do it that way. I've seen businesses that do that and it usually looks very nice.

I agree clear bottle and pretty colorful label. Me personally, I like color so if you decided to color and use the clear bottle I would still buy because I like colorful products. Also if you decide to color your products I don't think all of them should be colored keep some at their natural color. But that is just my opinion good luck!!
