Any opinions on how this would work as a colorant/liquid?

I've sen mention of so many other foods, I figured it might be worth a shot

If you want gray soap, it works. That's the color I when I tried it a couple years ago. Not a nice pretty gray either

Alkanet root infusions will give you nice purple, and a little bit goes a long way.
