I actually found a small mini one for $7 at Ace Hardware. Works great. One more gadget to add to my stash.

Tell me about it! I love it. I keep looking for ways to make my soaps look more fancier and enticing. Making several batches today.

Just bought the little planer yesterday, thought I'm having a bit of a time getting the knack of it. I can see it has potential.....

The harder the bar the easier it is. Just adjust your blade in small increments and you'll see the difference.

but took carebears advise and now I use my nail, quicker and easier. I do listen sometimes

Figured out the little planer. Two swipes and it looks great! I didn't think I would care one way or the other, but I decided I really like the look of the beveled edges compared to not.
