How does one get nice beveled edges like this?

I can't ever get an even bevel with a veggie peeler so I bought the beveler from KB.

you can get really small wood planers at any hardware store, they're adjustable and work great! thanks to my DP (what the heck do you call a domestic partner anyway?! spouse? boyfriend [ridiculous at my age]) i have a couple. good luck!
