You'd like I would have learned by now not to say "never" to something. Never to cold process instead of hot process, never to salt bars, never to bath bombs, bubble scoops and body wash.

*sigh* Well, now I feel like experimenting with new things! And once again it's an expensive endeavor.
But I must cure my curiosity and give them a try.

I haven't found cocoa butter for under $10 a pound, or SLSA for under $17 a pound (both Amazon Prime). Do you know of better sources for the west coast?

And while most recipes use SLSA for bubbles, I see that (it was either NG or RE) one recipe uses Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate - because SLSA requires the use of a respirator....??

Save On Citric has SLSA powder for $11.65 per pound. A pound of refined cocoa butter is $9.65. I don't know what the shipping will cost you, though.

SLSA, two wild hares. Shea I get from essential depot. Cocoa butter I got through a destash group, before that amazon :)

There is a girl on one of the destash groups Ill leave the link below. He cocoa butter was some of the nicest I have ever purchased and I also just got her shea butter too. Cannot beat her price! Includes shipping.

$25 - 5 lbs Shea butter (Shipping Included US Only) $ 5.00 lb

And she ships immediately. Thought I would pass it on. I'm sure she has more.
