so....I tried my hand at beer soap. I used a local lager called Banks, the bf left some in the freezer, so I thawed it out, poured the beer in another container, and re-froze. the lye solution was strange b/c the lye took longer than usual to dissolve. then I tried a feathery swirl and spoon swirl for the brown part. scented with cedarwood and sweet orange. I can't smell the orange and cedarwood is hard to pick out. still smells a little like beer (bleh).

anyway, here it is!

I like that a beer soap smells like soap win wink :)
They are pretty too, hope they stay that way.

Love those! I had a beer soap batch that was a little stronger with the beer smell at first but it mellowed out after a bit and the other scents came through. I like a bit of beer pong to stay, keeps it real.

thanks all! swirls didn't turn out the way I wanted....

I would usually like the beer smell, however I don't like the smell of this beer (bleh.....don't like lagers). glad there's hope to the smell fading.....
