That is exactly what I have in mind! I watch some tutorials on YouTube lastnight and I want to try it again. This time I just used white, then blue, then black on top and attempted the swirl but by the looks of things I should be layering all the colors up until I fill the mold then swirl so I am going to give that a try in the near future. My next attempt are margarita salt bars.
 
We will seehow they feel this week actually they should be just about curred on the 15th :)

Keep on trying! i use condiment bottles i bought from walmart there translusent and i fill them with my soapbatter and just squirt the lines of soap (this one id did a little different, instead of layering I forced the squirt thru other layers trying to give it a different look)
 
Here are pics of my rebatch. I wanted it to be as smooth as possible so I added about 1.5 cups of aloe juice

I like the look!

with that much added liquid, I expect they'll shrink and warp - but only time will tell. will you keep us updated?
